This year, our calendar includes a mix of fun, social events for the family, including personal and professional development seminars with lots of opportunities for community service and volunteer hours. Additional information about each event will be available closer to the date.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\tRoots To Resilience\n\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nirow.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/REAL-Hub.-Roots-to-Resilience.jpeg\" alt=\"REAL Hub. Roots to Resilience\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t<p>Adjusting to life in a new country can be overwhelming, especially for children and youths. The pressures of fitting in, navigating cultural differences, and balancing school, family, and identity can take a toll on their emotional wellbeing.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s why NIROW, in partnership with Inner Compass Wellbeing, is offering free, culturally responsive mental health counselling sessions for Black youth aged 6 to 25 through the Roots to Resilience project.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative is especially designed for immigrant youths and children who need a safe, affirming space to be heard and supported.
